Wendy K. Williamson

Wendy graduated from Virginia Tech and after being downsized from corporate America, wrote her first book, a memoir, called I'm Not Crazy Just Bipolar. Her second book: Two Bipolar Chicks Guide to Survival: Tips for Living with Bipolar Disorder, was co-written with author Honora Rose.

            

She has written for: BP Magazine, Bipolar Disorder for Dummies: 2nd Edition and The Two River Times. Her book has been reviewed by Publisher's Weekly and National Alliance on Mental Illness’ The Advocate. Wendy blogs for BP Magazine’s BPHope.com and is the founder of The Red Bank Writers Group. She has been interviewed on over forty radio stations and lives in NJ. Wendy is working on her next six books (of course!), burning out laptops to stay sane.                       Honora Rose

Honora is a graduate of Boston University. Upon graduation, she worked in the financial industry for ten years before starting a family. She has a thirteen-year-old son and an eleven-year-old daughter.  Not long after the birth of her second child, she was diagnosed with bipolar type I. Later she discovered she was a rapid cycler. At thirty-five, Honora’s years of meteoric highs and crushing lows finally had a name. Her journey to wellness was born.

Greetings from the "Two Bipolar Chicks"

We're thrilled you're here. Welcome to The Two Bipolar Chicks' Blog!
We have to tell you it has been a whirlwind year since we signed our contract last year. So far this year, every piece of news that fills the inbox has been exciting. (I should quickly knock on my desk from the side of the road right about now. (Yes, that's true, that's where I found it.)

Many exciting events are still on the schedule for 2014, but we'll get to those on another post.

It's about time we caught you up. 

Oh, who are we you ask?  Great question! Slight detail.

Let me introduce ourselves; it's the proper thing to do. Even in blogville.

That's me, Wendy on the left and Nora (Honora) on the right. 

We're goofy (and often serious), and yes, we butt heads. That's why this picture is perfectly fitting. We are the bipolar chicks, though don't tell our neighbors! We don't agree on who came up with the idea of bipolar chicks. I think it was mine and Nora thinks it was hers. Such is our life. We promise we rarely drive others crazy, just ourselves and on a blue moon our agent. But I digress...

We are both type ones, and Nora is an ultra rapid cycler for that extra dash of excitement.
